Relax overnight at a nearby golf spa and return home via two quite different gardens, each full of ideas and Inspiration.

Arriving mid-morning, the day is yours to enjoy: wandering through the walled Kitchen Garden and Orchard; the Paradise Garden featuring plants from around the world; the Bee & Butterfly Garden; the Mediterranean and Fruit Houses.

Lunch in the Bridgerwater Cafe or take a picnic and stroll at leisure past lakes, streams and woodland. As the afternoon continues wonder at the logistics behind this project and take the memories with you as we depart for our overnight stay.

Leaving Formby Hall after breakfast we shortly arrive at:

Depart NGS Saxon Road and head north-east to other NGS Gardens whilst making out way home.


Holehird Gardens, Cumbria.

Arriving for a picnic lunch marvel at the exuberant borders of Holehird Gardens, which contain a large variety of plants, particularly those suited to the local climate with its high rainfall.
